Had a chance to hit the Deschutes River last weekend with a buddy. We were targeting steelhead and the water was a bit chilly but clear. Started off slow, missed a few decent strikes, and I probably lost the biggest fish of the day right at the bank — so frustrating! Ended up catching a nice hatchery fish later on using a bead and pink yarn. The weather was decent, not too windy, which made for a nice day out. How's everyone else doing? Are the fish biting in your neck of the woods?
