What's your go-to revolver for everyday carry? I'd love to hear from those of you who regularly use wheelguns about what models and features have proven to be most effective in real-life situations.

I could never profess the most perfect carry revolver.
But I can certainly profess my own favorites.
My most favorite, for forever and always, is a 2-3/4" Security Six or Speed Six. Chambered in .357, it shoots them well. And when not in proximity of bears, +P .38 Specials are an absolute pleasure.
After that, there are some others that I could also carry without issue. An L-Frame S&W with any barrel 3" or shorter is a great choice.

And completely outclassed by the revolvers above, is the Ruger LCR. It works very well for me, and is quite accurate in spite of its diminutive size and weight.

Well, for me it's my only center fire revolver. It's the 2 1/4 inch barreled, stainless Colt Python that my son bought me for my birthday last year. Once I get around to changing the sights on it, it WILL be perfect.

Once standard capacity mags are banned, I will carry it, or one of my 1911's. If they're gonna neutered me down to ten rounds, I won't be carrying a full size Glock or Beretta. I will carry a handgun with a cartridge that's a bit more powerfuL

The perfect one is whatever works for you.

I have a couple that I carry, and others that I don't. My S&W 442 and Taurus 856 are the ones I carry and they fit perfectly in my front right pocket.

I just got back the Taurus 5 shot 2 inch stainless revolver that I gave my Mom 30+ years ago. She is now 80 and has Parkinson's. Her shooting days are over as her hands are weak and shaky. I may get a holster for it.

I carry either Smith 3 inch M65 or Smith M64 2 inch. Have for years. I don't even notice the weight. Sometimes I might carry an auto jammer, a Star 9mm BM. Shoots great.
