Sold my first deer rifle for $200

College, divorce, and disability took all but a couple of pistols at one point. Thankfully, over the last couple of years, I have recovered many of the arms I lost.

Been there done that. Divorce. Raising 2 kids myself. Sold most of mine and Dad's after he died.
After kids got into college, I bought like crazy. Now getting old, I find there are too many. Contemplating dumping them on Cabelas just to get it over with.
The kids made it worth it. One is a doctor and the other is land owner/business owner

Nice. You must be proud. I was going to go to medical school and then I wound up with a kid that I got full custody of, so I
Settled for being the lowest level non physician practitioner that I could become in about half the time in the middle of nursing school. It was worth it though.

My son just got out of the Army about a year and a half ago after 10 years, medical discharge 100% rating, and is going to school. Retired out as SSGT.

In a few years my wife and I will retire to wherever he winds up, probably Oklahoma, and we are going to use our properties here as rentals and funnel half of that money in with our son and buy a ranch where we can hunt and shoot on, and all of it will be in a trust for my son and our grandkids when we pass. My son turned out okay. He’s going for law enforcement.
