With all the internet hate over Sig and the P320 issue, I for one still like Sig Sauer. I owned a P320 compact in the early days when they first came out but moved it on for something different. Every firearm manufacturer has had one or two boobs make it to the market at one time or another. I've never had an issue with any Sig I've owned over the years except maybe finding a holster. I currently have 3 Sigs and love them! Two are my primary carries at this point. Share your Sig pics if you have one and are still a fan.

I don't own any plastic SIG pistols, only because I have little interest in more plastic pistols.
But I do have a small assortment of metal-framed SIG pistols. I will own and shoot them forever. Favorite is a tough term to satisfy. So I'll say I rate them very highly. They are among my favorites.

To me, #1 Sig and #2 Springfield Armory are the top tier of commercial, mass produced firearms in the US. Agreement on the thought that any mass produced goods are going to have hiccups from time to time. Time and time again the fingers pointing at the "flawed" P320 have been proven wrong in research studies. I'm willing to bet 99% of the "accidental" discharges are human mistakes and people don't like admitting stupid mistakes or taking responsibility for them. JMO for the 2¢ it's worth...

Well, I talked to Sig about my P320 Compact. My gun is "Post Upgrade" . The FCU number didn't match the number on the box. Sig said it was a post upgrade LEO FCU and that the grip module on mine is not what came on it standard.

They also told me not to carry it with a round in the chamber, just to be doubly sure….Condition 3. I guess that's how our armed forces are carrying them now.

I really like my P320C. It's like it was custom made to fit my hand. I've tried some of what all those YT videos did with wiggling the slide, pressing on it, knocking it with a mallet, etc trying to make it go off with an empty primed case in the chamber. It didn't.

That cop that shoved his P320 down the front of his pants with no holster, and a round chambered, blew his nuts off kind of deservingly as shown in a YT video sued Sig. So did his wife, as he could no longer perform his "Husbandly Duties". Well, they both lost and didn't collect, which is okay. We don't need his genes in the ole' gene pool anyway.

I need to get a trigger pull gauge and test the pull on my Sig. it feels lighter than any of my 1911's. It is sweet shooting. It shoots to point of aim with any and all ammo I've fed it.

Some of the issues with the Sig have been traced back to poor metallurgy. Come on Sig, why are you guys importing parts from India that are basically pot metal?

Some of the issues came from Sig installing incorrect, but similar looking parts at the factory. That doesn't surprise me at all. They sent me mispackaged parts before. Right part number/packaging, but the wrong part inside. They sent me the same wrongly packaged part 4 separate times.

SIG's customer service sucks. After four wrong parts delivered over the course of 6 weeks, I finally asked them for a refund, which they never did get around to either.

If you own a P320 of a P365 of any variant, expect to replace springs regularly. The metallurgy on their springs is so poor. Companies like Armory Craft have better aftermarket springs. I keep a few trigger return springs on hand as there have been instances where that particular spring didn't even make it to 2K rounds.

If I buy any more plastic guns in the future, they will be Glocks or Rugers. I have no problems with Sig's metal framed guns, or the ole SP2022. They are all time tested classics.

My P320C is the house gun. It sits at my bedside with a 21 round mag on an empty chamber. I keep all my guns in the house with an empty chamber just in case it gets knocked off on the floor somehow, so we don't get an AD.
