Stock trigger was gritty and heavy so I put in an aftermarket one for $150 and my shooting improved immediately. I will confess, this is the best upgrade I've done!

Amazing what a clean break does, suddenly it’s the shooter, not the trigger getting credit.

The more you shoot, you realize just how bad most castor triggers are. Almost all my rifles and handguns have trigger upgrades.

What kind of make/model/caliber of gun did you do this on?

Meant factory triggers
Some are better than others for sure however often a simple disassembly, a little polish/stonework on the edges & mating surfaces helps dramatically!

Also after doing so coat the areas that make contact with GUNSLICK graphite grease and run it for a while. It works wonders to 'smooth' things up!

The upgrade was on a new Glock 40 Gen 4. It was over 6 lbs on my gauge AFTER a substantial break in. Installed Edge Competition unit and it came down to just under 3 with a crisp reset.
In my Ruger 6 CM, I installed a Jard trigger assembly after trying the spring trick. It is great.

My personal preference was always Jewell but they went out of business.
