I’ve heard some pretty questionable gun advice over the years, and a few lines still make me shake my head. What’s the worst piece of advice you’ve ever heard someone give about firearms?

What’s the worst piece of advice you’ve ever heard someone give about firearms?

Oh man! You opened a 'can of worms' with this and I'll have to give it some thought as I know I have HEARD a lot of bad advice given about firearms - not necessarily to ME but to others, and in general.

One of the best I heard a while back, (quote) 'The only reason I see to own firearms IS for self defense'.

If a bad guy is shooting at you just duck behind the corner or a table. You'll be safe.

to consider Firarms as an investment. This is only true for very few firearms. To me they are tools.
