When I couldn't hit the range often, I started practicing dry firing. It was dull at first, but it paid off! My groupings were great when spring rolled around.

Dry fire is underrated but incredibly effective, it’s amazing how much muscle memory you can build without firing a single round.

Maybe a bit more trouble than they are worth but if you reload the Speer plastic bullets are kind of fun to 'mess' with.

Powered by a primer only they are pretty accurate in some guns, not so much in others.

They are best in revolvers as they will NOT cycle semi auto actions but they can be hand loaded one at a time.

Easiest way to use them is to simply resize a case but do NOT flare or bevel them. Re prime and just push the bullet all the way down in the case.

Be careful however as with a magnum primer they will punch through a coffee can at 10-15' but a box with some old towels inside as a back stop works well as a shop/garage target setup.
