I amtrying to stay sharp between range trips without actually shooting. I feel like I should be doing more than just watching YouTube videos about shooting, what's actually effective for building skills without live ammo?

Dry-fire is the king for at-home training, focus on a perfect press without the sights moving, then practice your draw from concealment, slow as you can., grab some inert dummy rounds and work on clearing all the common malfunctions

Dry fire is great helps you control the trigger and line up sights. You can build up muscle memory without using ammo, also practice drawing and reloading

So, Dry Fire's the new thing, huh? My friend's been using an Airsoft gun to practice in his garage, he says it works well, except he totally blasted his pet rocks once...poor 'Rocky Jr.' didn't make it.

The wife and I race to the front door to see who will let the dogs out. We have three of these critters and all we have to do is yell asparagus thief.
