What makes a firearm “reliable”?

Reliable means it runs dirty, with different ammo and doesn’t get picky about magazines. If it only works when it’s spotless and fed premium ammo, it’s not reliable, it’s high maintenance.
 
My Glock's been my go-to for ages. I just know when I pull the trigger, it's gonna fire, no matter the weather. And I don't sweat the ammo too much.
