Thought I would check out this forum.

I am always looking for a nice place to shoot, but given my age (working on year 80) and health and mobility issues, my options are limited.
I currently shoot at TRITAC indoor range here in Salem.

I mostly go to TRITAC with my son, who lives in the Portland area, and sometimes he brings my grandson along.

My latest project was "Resurrecting" an early (pre-2012) AR-57 (Five Seven). Now it is safe to shoot. ;) Thank God 5.7x28 ammo is coming down in price.

That’s a great setup, range time with family and a revived AR-57 sounds like a win all around.

Welcome! Be sure to stack some ammo. None of the three major US plants, one owned by Federal (the Czech conglomerate) and the two ran by Olin are releasing ammo to the civilian market. They are filling military and police contracts only at this time.

Federal, CCI, Remington, Browning, Herters, Winchester, Speer are all starting to dry up. Look at the Lake City thread. The 22Lr choices are extremely limited right now.

Cabela's/Bass Pro is basically down to what they have on store shelves as far as Winchester and Federal. I got the last box of 9MM NATO they had in their system.
