Yes it is.

Forums will no doubt always be around but I suspect the 'specialized' ones will be the first to go as the owners of the specific guns age out, loose interest etc. I can honesty say the 'specialized' forums I am a member of I frequent far less than the more 'generic', general gun forums I am a member of.
