I used to watch this one channel religiously until I noticed every review was glowing, every sponsor was 'the best,' and anything they weren't paid to promote was suddenly mediocre. It lost all credibility when they couldn't say a single negative thing about products that obviously had issues. I need honest reviews, not 20-minute commercials disguised as content

The whole YouTube 'world' of gun related channels has really became a 'conundrum' so to speak.

In the past it wasn't so bad but as time progressed it has become overwhelming with all the sites. Some are really good, with creators giving good, objective (and knowledgeable) information but the majority it seems either don't have a clue or little knowledge of what they are doing, are playing out 'fantasies' of being 'on TV' OR, like you said, a 20 minute commercial.

Bottom line is there are only a couple I do watch anymore regularly. I DO 'skim' a few if it is about something specific I was looking for but often don't watch the whole thing.

As far as those I DO watch regularly I can count them on one hand.

I watch Honest Outlaw, Tools & Targets, and Washington Gun Law. Sometimes the Military Arms Channel. Most of the others I don’t.

Revolver Same is good too.

Most are so bad, I seldom watch any.
Watch a 20 minute video and half way thru, I still don't know what the video is about, as the presenter is still bloviating about nothing.

I wonder if some of the YouTubers ever take the time to watch their OWN videos?

If they did some would hopefully realize just how bad they are and maybe consider removing them - or their channel completely.

I couldn't even guess how MANY I have started to watch and probably stopped 30 or less seconds into them.

Most people don't seem to understand you have an average of about 10 seconds to capture an audience's attention before they decide to tune or tune out.
