Charcoal or propane?

Pellets and propane in that order.

I stuff as much as I can in the Traeger, but when there's an extra sumpthin' that needs a little more heat, then it goes in a pan in the propane BBQ, with an extra pan of wood chips for smoke.

Sometimes I cook extra hot to sear in the propane grill and finish it on the Traeger.

The Traeger gets far more use. It's fragile and has broken down multiple times when I really needed it, but when it works... I love it.

Still, the Traeger grill gets far more use.

Someday when my Traeger totally gives up, then I'm gonna switch to a different brand, for multiple reasons. And that's too bad, as my Traeger is only 2 years old.
