I bought a Caldwell MagCharger universal pistol magazine loader from Bi-mart the other day. I'd gone for the Uplula, and had never seen this Caldwell unit until then. The Uplula was $39, and this was priced at $47, but looked so much more functional than the Uplula, so I bought it. It rang up $27.95.
It's a handheld magazine loader with a squeeze handle, and several adjustments. It seems well made, and has some heft to it. The adjustments were simple #5 for the P320, and #4 for the P365. #3 fit my S&W M&P-30 magazine, but the uni failed to load 30 super carry. It did with a short learning curve load the 9mm SIG P320 & P365 magazines easily, and quite rapidly with practice.
Insert the magazine after adjusting the side rollers for size (#5 #4 etc.) facing the handle (bullets point towards the handle) and tighten the tension knob. Insert a cartridge into the hole on the side, making sure the bullet end faces the squeeze handle, squeeze the handle, and repeat. So far I like it but we only loaded 200 rounds in this first session. I'll update this after more use.
