Bolt-action rifles (Under $1,000)

I've shot some cheaper precision bolt-action rifles and found a few awesome options under $1,000. The Ruger American Predator, used Tikka T3x Lite, Savage 110 Precision, and Howa 1500 (with an upgraded stock) give you the best value.

They need nice barrels and optics to be great but with a few upgrades, they perform like expensive rifles for hunting and target shooting, what budget bolt-action have you had the best results with?

I got a Tikka T3x, bedded it and put a scope on it and now it shoots like a new rifle

That Tikka T3x Lite is awesome, its action is the smoothest you'll find for the price. And it shoots straight as an arrow

The Savage Axis II Precision is a good choice if you want something good for under $1,000.
