The recoil dropped significantly. And I can stay on target way better for follow-up shots. The downside is it's loud as hell now, and everyone at the range hates me. To me, it is worth it though. Are you running brakes on your rifles?

No. I take them off.
And my neighbors at the range thank me.

If I was shooting all alone, I might use a muzzle brake. And when I'm at the range and somebody is using a muzzle brake, I go to the car til they're done, or I go home.

I had to put a muzzle brake on my 700 stainless mountain rifle in 300 RUM. I am not normally recoil sensitive but that thing kicks like a mule!

I put a brake on my rifle, and it did make a difference with the recoil. I can take follow-up shots faster and more accurately. Yeah, it's loud, but the performance is worth it.
