Worst meal I’ve ever made

I once tried cooking rice over a camp stove in heavy wind and ended up with half-burnt, half-crunchy mush. I still ate it, though. What’s your worst cooking fail?

Was gonna make tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for my roommate and I. Cut my finger on the soup can and didn't notice. Got blood on the bread. Looking at the blood, I realized the bread was starting to mold. We gave it up and ordered a pizza. That was 20 years ago. He occasionally still asks if I've had a Bloody Moldy recently.

I messed up pancakes once by rushing and they were burned on the outside and raw inside. I still ate them though cause being hungry beats "being too good" for them..

I tried making pasta with my brother during early archery season. The wind kept blowing the flame all over the place and we rushed it. What did we end up with: Crunchy noodles, watery sauce, and a lot of laughing...
