What do non-hunters get wrong?

Well, fortunately most of my family & friends grew up hunting so I don't have to explain anything to them however when it comes to other people unless they specifically as ask me questions about hunting I try to avoid the subject however if it does come up I try to keep it as simple and to the point with regard to any specific questions they might have.
The worst however are liberal anti gun types who are mostly anti hunting as well and LIKE guns they are so incredibly misinformed about hunting it sometimes defies comprehension.
Many have literally NO understanding of the laws, game management, differences in seasons, the way hunting areas are divided up depending on the particular animal & season however with a lot of these types they could care less and simply believe ALL hunting should be eliminated.
Fortunately where I live in Oregon essentially all my friends are outdoors-people and hunters so I don't encounter the other types much.
