I'm looking for a reliable scope for elk hunting that won't break the bank. Has anyone tried a good budget scope under $300 that holds zero well and has clear optics? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I am not really a firearm hunter, but I am a big fan of Vortex optics. Have used many of them over the years on my AR's and have used their binos. Found this one for under $300 and Vortex has a lifetime no questions warranty.
Im more a Leupold fan but will include a really good deal on a Vortex. Both are good basic scopes in the same class that would work for any big game hunting.
