Can we talk about how ridiculous guns are in movies?

I just watched another action movie where the hero fired like 47 rounds from a six-shooter without reloading. And don't even get me started on suppressors making guns sound like a mouse sneeze or people getting blown backward from pistol shots. Does Hollywood think we're all idiots? Ridiculous!

Hollywood totally takes liberties with physics for that big-screen drama. Don't sweat it too much, it's mostly just for show, but yeah, it's pretty ridiculous

Haha you are preaching to the choir! It drives me nuts. The worst is the unlimited magazine, it's like directors don't even know what a thirty-round limit is. And yeah, those huge recoil "knockdowns" from a nine mil? Yeah yeah It's movie magic but it sure makes you appreciate real-world ballistics and firearms safety more...

Not necessarily related to the guns but it's amazing how many scenes in movies the actor has a particular gun in hand, the scene shifts and then back to THAT actor who has an entirely different gun in hand.

Again not related to the guns but my all time favorite is when a group has their guns pointed at a person, the person makes a 'move' and all of a sudden the sound of racking/cocking/charging guns.
